NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination: NTA Issues Crucial Admit Card Clarification Ahead of June 21 Test

Ahead of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination on June 21, the National Testing Agency has issued a major clarification stating that only the newly released admit cards are valid. The Central Government has strengthened security arrangements, while the Delhi High Court is set to deliver its verdict on the temporary restrictions imposed on Telegram.

With the countdown to the NEET UG 2026 re-examination entering its final phase, the National Testing Agency has issued a major clarification regarding admit cards to prevent confusion among candidates appearing for the examination scheduled on June 21. The agency shared the important update on June 19 and made it clear that only the newly issued admit cards for the June 21 examination will be considered valid.

In a post on the social media platform X, the National Testing Agency stated that candidates who have already downloaded their fresh admit cards for the June 21 examination are not required to download them again. The agency explained that SMS messages, emails and WhatsApp notifications were primarily sent to candidates who had not yet downloaded their revised admit cards.

The National Testing Agency further clarified that admit cards issued for the May 3 examination will not be accepted because several candidates have been allotted new examination centres in their preferred cities. According to the agency, downloading and printing the June 21 admit card once is sufficient for appearing in the examination.

The NEET UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 21, and the Central Government has already put extensive security arrangements in place to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the test.
